We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our dynamic team, instructing students from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds, promote literacy and numeracy skills, and support holistic childhood development. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for nurturing a love of learning in children. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Incorporate learning technology and educational resources to enhance student understanding and engagement
- Assess student progress regularly using standardized testing and formative assessments, adjusting instruction as needed
- Provide tutoring and individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism or requiring early intervention
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and school-wide initiatives
- Mentor students in social-emotional skills, early childhood education principles, and overall character building
Skills
- Proven classroom experience working with children from diverse backgrounds in K-5 settings
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff
- Expertise in curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and library services integration
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education practices including Montessori methods
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively using behavior management techniques
- Experience with special education strategies and working with individuals with autism or other learning differences
- Proficiency in learning technology tools for instructional purposes and assessment purposes
- Skilled in lesson planning, proofreading educational materials, and writing clear instructional content
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring methodologies
- Experience in private school settings or early intervention programs is a plus

Pay: $53,159.00 - $62,284.00 per year
