Position Overview
Littlefield Unified School District is seeking a dedicated, full-time Special Education Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a 10-month position with summers off. Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $41,000 – $53,225 (based on education and experience)
• Additional Compensation: Up to $9,000 in Proposition 301 funds
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available
• Work Location: Beaver Dam Schools, Beaver Dam, Arizona

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.

Certification & Fingerprint Requirements:

• Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate.
• Must possess or be able to obtain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of special education curriculum, instructional strategies, and IEP development.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including Autism and behavioral challenges.
• Background in teaching and/or tutoring.
• Understanding of inclusive practices and supporting students in general education settings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians.
