    Monday-Thursday 8 AM- 1 PM (staff hours)

    Position Summary:
    We are seeking passionate and student-centered educators to serve as Elementary Summer Learning Experience Teachers for our 2026 summer program. This position provides a valuable opportunity to support our learners with engaging instruction, enrichment activities, and hands-on learning experiences. Teachers will provide reading and math learning to prepare students for success in the upcoming school year. Positions are contingent upon student enrollment and will be filled in accordance with district contractual guidelines.
    Qualifications:
    For Certified Teachers:
    • Valid Professional Educator's License (PEL) with appropriate elementary endorsements.

    For Instructors (Non-Certified Teachers):
    Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
    • Valid Substitute Teaching Certification.
    • Current enrollment in an approved educator licensure program.

    Performance Responsibilities:
    Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned to elementary standards.
    • Plan and implement rigorous lessons in literacy, math, and enrichment areas.
    • Incorporate interactive, hands-on activities to foster curiosity and active learning.
    • Maintain accurate daily attendance and submit required reports in a timely manner.
    • Track student progress and report academic data to inform instruction and support student growth.
    • Collaborate within your building to design and implement a service learning component that connects classroom learning with meaningful community engagement.
    • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and social-emotional development.
    • Communicate effectively with families and colleagues to support student success.
    • Actively supervise students during arrival, lunch, and dismissal.
    • Attendance is required for the entire session duration, with a maximum of three absences allowed throughout the summer learning experience.
