Elementary Teacher - 5th Grade

Pennock Elementary is seeking a passionate and reflective 5th grade teacher who believes strong relationships, high expectations, and purposeful instruction help every student succeed. At Pennock, we value educators who collaborate with colleagues, thoughtfully use student data to guide instruction, and continuously reflect on their practice in order to improve outcomes for all learners. Fifth grade plays an important role in preparing students for the transition to middle school, so we are looking for a teacher who can create a structured, engaging classroom where students feel known, challenged, and supported academically and socially. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented educator who brings both professionalism and enthusiasm to their work and is committed to helping every student grow. This position is 1.0 TE and is eligible for benefits.

Required Qualifications

• A valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License/Authorization.
• Meet Colorado Department of Education "In Field" endorsement or qualifications requirements for the posted subject area.
• The ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously.
• The ability and interest to be part of a high-functioning team.
• The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum, and so on).
