Elementary Teacher Grade 3

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher for Grade 3 to inspire young learners and foster their academic and personal growth. Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards to promote active learning in literacy, math, science, social studies, and other core subjects.
• Incorporate diverse teaching strategies and learning technologies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive discipline techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations.
• Provide individualized support through tutoring or early intervention strategies for students needing extra help or special education services.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that respects cultural diversity and promotes social-emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop tailored educational plans for students with autism or other special needs.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to curriculum development, childhood development, Montessori methods, or other educational approaches.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral incidents in compliance with education administration standards.
• Support library services by integrating literacy education resources into daily lessons and encouraging reading habits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.
• Valid teaching license or certification for elementary education in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven classroom experience working with children at the elementary level, especially grades 3–5.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment strategies.
• Familiarity with learning technology tools such as interactive whiteboards, educational software, or online platforms.
• Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners.
• Skills in proofreading, writing skills, and literacy education to support student language development.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies to create an organized learning environment.

Pay: $54,500.00 - $60,000.00 per year
