Elementary Teacher (Grades 3-5)

Reading Edge Academy is a tuition-free public charter school serving grades K–5 in DeBary, Florida. We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary Teacher (Grades 3–5) who is committed to helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a supportive learning environment.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons aligned with Florida State Standards.
• Create a positive classroom culture that encourages respect, curiosity, and achievement.
• Use assessments and data to guide instruction and meet students’ individual needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and families about student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to support school goals and initiatives.
• Participate in professional development, school events, and team planning.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field (required).
• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate (Elementary Education K–6) or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for fostering academic excellence and student growth.
• Experience in a charter school setting is a plus, but not required.
