Growing in Grace Academy is a Christian hybrid school dedicated to providing a nurturing, faith-based learning environment where children are known, loved, and encouraged to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and caring Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about Christian education, enjoys working in a small classroom setting, and is committed to helping children reach their God-given potential. This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact while working closely with families in a supportive school community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with curriculum goals
• Create a positive, Christ-centered classroom environment
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
• Monitor student progress and communicate with families regularly
• Foster social, emotional, and spiritual growth
• Collaborate with staff and participate in school events
• Maintain a safe and organized learning environment

Experience

• Previous teaching experience in an elementary classroom, early childhood program, microschool, homeschool, childcare center, tutoring program, or other educational setting preferred.
• Experience planning and implementing engaging lessons and age-appropriate learning activities.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Experience supporting students with learning differences, special needs, or individualized learning goals is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive, nurturing learning environment.
• Experience communicating effectively with parents and collaborating with families.
• Experience in a Christian school, church ministry, faith-based program, or Christian educational setting preferred.
• Student teachers, retired teachers, homeschool educators, education majors, and experienced childcare professionals are encouraged to apply.
• Must have a genuine love for children, a passion for education, and a commitment to helping students grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred
• Degree in Education or related field preferred
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to Christian values and faith-based education
• Ability to work independently in a small-school setting
