Elementary/Middle School Tutor

Overview

Kairos Academics Kids is hiring! Located in Irvine, CA, our team is looking for elementary and/or middle school tutors. Here at Kairos Kids we develop individualized learning programs tailored to each students' needs to supplement students' current studies. Sessions are either delivered in a one-on-one setting or a small group class. Prospective tutors should possess the following qualities:

• Genuinely passionate about helping students succeed and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that they do so
• Knowledgeable in subject material
• Experienced in teaching and mentoring
• Patient, professional, and prompt

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, personalized academic instruction for students
• Schedule with students and adjust as needed.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes student growth
• Provide timely feedback of student performance/progress with parents and company staff as needed (usually once a month)

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or in possession of Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college
• Previous experience tutoring or teaching
• Reliable form of transportation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
