Elementary/Middle School Tutor-Wrightstown

Empowered Tutoring, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, is seeking part-time independent-contractor literacy tutors in the Wrightstown, Wisconsin area. Empowered Tutoring provides one-on-one academic support to K-12 students from financially disadvantaged families.

This opportunity focuses on providing K-8 instruction in core subjects including reading, writing, math, science and history. Tutoring sessions are held at the Wrightstown Village Hall. Qualified candidates include current or retired teachers, paraprofessionals, education students, or other degreed professionals who are passionate about forming positive relationships and helping students achieve their academic goals. All necessary materials and learning resources will be provided.

We are seeking individuals available to work 3 to 6 hours per week. We have need for current students through May, and for our summer and fall programs. As a not-for-profit organization, we welcome volunteers; however, we are able to offer $27 per tutoring hour for candidates who meet our needs.
