Elevator Technician

We’re Hiring: Elevator Technician 

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled elevator technician to install, maintain, and repair elevators and escalators. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical, mechanical, and electronic knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety. Must be physically fit, able to work at heights and in confined spaces, willing to travel between cities for client assignments and service calls, and capable of supervising and training junior staff.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Technology, or an equivalent qualification
• Proven hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators, escalators, or related lifting equipment
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and industry standards

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and other lifting equipment with strict adherence to safety and quality standards
• Monthly Maintenance: Perform scheduled monthly maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues efficiently to minimize downtime
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to service calls and urgent situations, providing reliable technical support to clients
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, inspections, and repair work for reporting and compliance
• Safety Compliance: Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations at all times
• Client Communication: Provide clear updates and technical guidance to clients in a professional manner
• Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate a proactive attitude, commitment to learning, and dedication to skill and service enhancement
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel city-to-city as required to support client needs and project assignments
• Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to improve operational efficiency and service quality, while supervising and training junior staff to enhance their skills and performance
