OneSource Medical Diagnostics is looking for a detail-oriented Eligibility & Insurance Verification Clerk to join our growing team.

OneSource Medical Diagnostics provides administrative and support services to Expert MRI, a leading radiology group dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services and exceptional patient care.

This role plays a key part in ensuring a clean and efficient billing process by verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, and maintaining accurate patient information.

** Pay Range: $22–$24 per hour

** Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (note: Rotating weekend availability required)

What You'll Do:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to services
• Obtain insurance authorizations for diagnostic imaging procedures
• Confirm referring physician information and required documentation (RX/orders)
• Review and verify patient demographics, insurance, and employer information for billing accuracy
• Update financial class and fee schedule information in patient records
• Attach and maintain supporting documentation in patient charts
• Verify attorney information for applicable cases
• Follow up on accounts requiring additional review or clarification
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely billing preparation

What You Need:

• 1–3 years of experience in medical office, billing, or insurance verification
• Experience verifying eligibility and obtaining authorizations for PPO, HMO, Medicare, Workers’ Comp, Auto/PI, and Med Pay
• Knowledge of medical billing and CPT codes strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
