ELV AutoCAD Draftsman

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Draftsman with experience in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings for ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, SMATV, Intercom, and Fiber Optic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed ELV shop drawings as per project specifications and consultant requirements
• Develop as-built drawings after site execution
• Coordinate with project engineers and site teams for drawing updates
• Modify drawings based on consultant/client comments
• Prepare single line diagrams, layout drawings, riser diagrams, and schematics
• Ensure drawings comply with local authority standards (if applicable)
• Maintain drawing records and revisions properly

Requirements:

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical or relevant field
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as ELV Draftsman
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Experience in ELV systems: CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Fiber Optics, etc.
• Knowledge of authority standards such as Etisalat / DU / SIRA is an advantage
• Good understanding of site coordination and BOQ
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Smart Home Systems (Advantage)
• Knowledge of low current system standards
• Good communication skills
• AutoCAD
