Job Purpose:


As a Presales engineer, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the presales process for Light Current. This role involves designing technical solutions, preparing proposals, engaging with clients, and collaborating with sales teams to ensure successful project execution.



Main Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Create detailed proposals and technical documentation for ELV/ICT projects in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to Oil & Gas clients, ensuring systems operate effectively and efficiently. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful
  • deployment of ELV/ICT solutions.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards and regulations, particularly those specific to the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Train clients and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of ELV/ICT systems.



  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored solutions. Present technical information to clients and support the sales process.
  • Provide expert advice on telecommunications systems, including CCTV, ACS, PAGA, FA, Data Networks, Unified Communications, SCS, Fiber Transmission, Microwave, Radio Communications, and Mission Critical Communication.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of telecommunications projects. Ensure projects meet technical specifications and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Design, implement, and maintain telecommunications systems. Troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
  • Lead the technical sales team, develop sales strategies, and manage customer relationships. Ensure technical solutions align with customer needs.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years in a similar role, with proven expertise in pre-sales activities and telecommunications systems.
  • Relevant certifications in telecommunications systems and technologies (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA Network+, PMP).
  • In-depth understanding of CCTV, ACS, PAGA, FA, Data Networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN), Unified Communications, SCS, Fiber Transmission (SDH, MPLS), Microwave, Radio Communications, and Mission Critical Communication.
