ELV Project Engineer

Managing - Extra Low Voltage Systems (ELV) projects which includes but not limited to - CCTV / Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, SMATV, Video & Audio Intercom, Active & Passive Network Components, Structured Cabling and backbone including Fiber Network, Gate & Boom Barrier, Physical Security Systems, Wi-Fi Access Points, Home Automation Systems and IT. Understanding the Internal Costing Sheet along with Project Scope of Work over the Project Kick-Off meeting / Sales to Ops. Handover meeting with Sales Team / Management. Cross checking – Cost and Scope of new projects and proceed with project execution – raising material/sub-contractor request, coordinating/verification of shop drawings, planning with supplier for delivery based on project material requirements, engaging sub-con on time to meet project execution timeline committed to end customer. Initiating a project site kick-off and establish continuous engagement with – MEP / Consultants / Project Management Companies / End Clients to have complete control of project execution. Responsible for Project – planning, installation, monitoring, control and closure. Shares best practices with peers on processes and policies. Ensure cross-training, team building and retaining best talents. Resource planning, training & development, allocation & budgeting System Design & Engineering verification’s and ensure desired system architecture is achieved. Attending project weekly meetings with Clients, Project Management Consultants (PMC), Technical Consultants and Architects. Ensure coordination with all other vendors and PMC for smooth execution. Avoid scope creep to meet project timeline and initiate variation order requests on time with concern. Ensure quality, safety, customer satisfaction, cost reduction if possible. Driving project towards successful completion and enable back office staff with all required supporting documents (signed delivery notes / certified invoices) to collect receivables / payments from clients / MEP on time. Providing weekly & monthly reports to Operations Manager / GM on a set time line.

2 to 3 years of experience in ELV systems project execution, preferably within UAE

Preferably UAE driving license

Preferably SIRA / DPS certified Security Systems Engineer

Preferably – B.E in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
