ELV sourcing Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and well-networked professional to source End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs) from diverse channels across India. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with second-hand car dealers, car service centres, scrap yards/ RVSFs, fleet operators, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure a steady supply of ELVs for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, connect with, and onboard reliable sources of ELVs across India.

Build and manage a strong network of second-hand car dealers, workshops, service centres, insurance surveyors, scrap dealers, and fleet owners.

Negotiate and finalize sourcing agreements to ensure competitive pricing and consistent supply.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing for ELVs in different regions.

Track and report sourcing performance, pipeline, and conversion metrics.

Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, compliance) to ensure smooth vehicle procurement and handover processes.

Ensure all sourcing activities are aligned with regulatory, environmental, and company compliance standards.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience of min 5 years in automobile sourcing, scrap vehicle procurement, or related field (dealer relations, fleet management, used-car market, etc.).

Strong networking and relationship-building skills across the automobile ecosystem.

Willingness to travel extensively across regions to identify and manage sources.

Negotiation and deal-closing ability with a focus on long-term partnerships.

Knowledge of automobile lifecycle, used-car ecosystem, and scrap market dynamics.

Graduate degree preferred; diploma/technical background in automobile/mechanical field a plus.
