ELV Technician

• Job Role: ELV Technician

Main Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain ELV systems such as:
• CCTV and surveillance systems
• Access control and biometric systems
• Fire alarm systems
• Public address (PA) systems
• Structured cabling (data/voice)
• Audio-visual (AV) systems
• Intruder alarm/security systems
• Read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Perform cabling, termination, and connections for ELV systems.
• Troubleshoot faults and carry out corrective maintenance.
• Ensure installations comply with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
• Conduct periodic inspections, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other site staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of ELV systems and equipment.
• Ability to use testing tools (multimeters, CCTV testers, crimping tools, etc.).
• Basic networking knowledge
• Hands-on skills in cabling, termination, and configuration.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Previous experience in ELV system installation and maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
