ELV Technician - Parking Management Systems

Our company delivers cutting-edge parking solutions that enhance urban mobility and operational efficiency. We are seeking skilled ELV Technicians to join our field operations team.

Position Summary
The ELV Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Extra Low Voltage systems specifically for parking management projects. The role requires hands-on technical expertise in deploying and maintaining parking control systems, with a strong emphasis on quality workmanship and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning:

• Install, terminate, and test various parking management system components including:
• ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras
• Parking barrier gates and access control systems
• Payment kiosks and ticket dispensers
• Parking guidance systems and signage
• Vehicle detection sensors and loops
• Run and pull structured cabling (UTP, fiber optic, coaxial)
• Mount and install equipment housing, conduits, and cable trays

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on parking systems
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and electronic components
• Responding to service calls and emergency breakdowns
• Replace defective components and reprogram systems as needed

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Conduct system testing and commissioning under supervisor guidance
• Verify proper operation of all installed systems
• Complete test reports and installation documentation

Site Operations:

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate PPE
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Manage company vehicles, tools, and inventory responsibly

Mandatory Requirements

• Valid Driving License: Must possess and maintain a clean driving record
• Technical Experience: Minimum 4 years’ experience in ELV systems installation and maintenance
• Parking Systems Knowledge: Experience with parking management systems is highly preferred
• Physical Capability: Ability to work outdoors, lift heavy equipment, and work at heights

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
• Understanding of low voltage systems and electrical safety
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
• Knowledge of network cabling and basic IP configurations
• Good communication skills in English (additional Arabic is a plus)
