Position: ELV Technician

Job Summary

An ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, SMATV, Intercom, Public Address, Fire Alarm, and Networking systems.

Scope of Work

• Install and terminate ELV cabling including CAT6, fiber optic, coaxial, and control cables.
• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR systems, and monitoring equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot Access Control systems, biometric devices, and door controllers.
• Install and maintain Structured Cabling and Network systems.
• Perform testing, labeling, and documentation of all installed systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities for ELV systems.
• Read and understand shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and site teams for daily activities.
• Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot system faults and provide technical support during commissioning.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials properly.
• Prepare daily work reports and update project progress.

Requirements

• Diploma/ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ELV systems installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, and Fiber Optic systems.
• Ability to use testing tools and hand tools.
• Basic networking knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Valid UAE driving license is a MUST

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
