Key Responsibilities
- Installation:
- CCTV Systems: Setting up surveillance cameras, DVR/NVR units, and network connectivity for real-time monitoring and recording.
- Access Control Systems: Installing and configuring biometric readers, RFID card readers, and keypads, as well as integrating them with IT networks for centralized management.
- PABX Systems: Configuring and integrating telephone exchange systems that handle internal and external communications, ensuring efficient routing of calls and integration with voicemail and other communication tools.
- IT Networks: Installing and configuring network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls, along with cabling and wireless access points to create robust and secure IT networks.
- Gate automation. installation and programming of different kind of sliding and swing door motor and parking barrrier.
- Maintenance:
- Routine Checks: Performing regular inspections and tests to ensure all ELV and IT systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to system malfunctions, connectivity problems, and hardware failures in both ELV and IT systems.
- Upgrades: Updating system components and software to enhance performance, security, and compatibility between ELV and IT systems.
- Repair:
- Fault Detection: Identifying and repairing faults in wiring, equipment, and network devices to restore optimal functionality.
- Component Replacement: Replacing defective or outdated parts with new components to ensure system reliability and longevity.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- SIRA CERTIFICATION
- Technical Proficiency:
- Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical principles, circuit diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Network Fundamentals: Knowledge of networking principles, including IP addressing, subnetting, and VLAN configuration.
- System Integration: Ability to integrate various ELV systems with IT networks, ensuring interoperability and centralized management.
- Tool Use: Proficiency in using a range of tools and equipment for installation and repair tasks.
- Problem-Solving:
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
- Communication:
- Customer Interaction: Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, understand their requirements, and explain technical concepts in layman’s terms.
