Ground Up Motors – SS396.com is a growing eCommerce company specializing in restoration parts for classic GM muscle cars. We’re passionate about the hobby and committed to delivering a great customer experience through clean branding, accurate execution, and strong operations.

We’re hiring an Email & Digital Marketing Strategist to help drive retention and repeat revenue through email campaigns, lifecycle automations, segmentation, and supporting landing pages.

Role Summary

This is a hands-on execution role focused on launching campaigns, maintaining automation flows, improving segmentation, and ensuring high-quality deployment standards. You’ll work under the direction of the Marketing Manager and play a key role in keeping our lifecycle channel consistent, accurate, and performance driven.

What You’ll Do

Email & SMS Campaign Execution

  • Build, QA, schedule, and deploy all promotional, newsletter, and announcement emails & SMS campaigns as defined by the marketing calendar
  • Implement creative assets, copy, and dynamic product blocks as provided or developed
  • Maintain consistent send cadence aligned with a campaign calendar
  • Validate links, promo codes, product blocks, and tracking before launch
  • Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, send times, and content variations
  • Track performance of each campaign and report results weekly and identify opportunities for improvement

Lifecycle Automations (Flows)

  • Maintain and improve key flows for email, SMS, and customer journey’s such as:

o Welcome series o Abandoned cart o Browse abandonment o Post-purchase o Win back / re-engagement

  • Partner with the Marketing Manager to implement segmentation strategies that improve personalization and conversion
  • Monitor flow health and resolve breaks/errors quickly

Segmentation & Targeting

  • Execute core segmentation to improve targeting and reduce fatigue
  • Work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Support to align campaign content with current offers, product launches, and seasonal trends
  • Build segments based on behavior, purchase history, and product/vehicle interest
  • Support lifecycle and email revenue improvements through smarter targeting

Landing Pages & Campaign Support

  • Build campaign landing pages for promotions, collections, and launches using page builder tools (no coding required)
  • Design and build visually engaging website pop-ups that capture customer information, promote sales, and drive conversions while maintaining a seamless user experience
  • Ensure landing pages are accurate, branded, and conversion-friendly

Creative Support

  • Build reusable, mobile-first templates for marketing and transactional campaigns
  • Create campaign visuals such as banners, promo tiles, and email header graphics
  • Support other marketing functions (social, product content, events) when cross channel campaigns are deployed
  • Assist in creative feedback and proofing during campaign build cycles
  • Maintain brand consistency across campaign assets

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 1–3 years of hands-on email marketing execution experience (Klayvio preferred)
  • Experience building campaigns and maintaining automation flows • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Strong understanding of segmentation and customer targeting
  • Comfortable building landing pages using page builders (no coding needed)
  • Comfortable producing simple marketing graphics using design tools
  • Organized, consistent, and accountable — this role requires strong follow-through
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to support other marketing functions

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience supporting SMS marketing
  • Familiarity with deliverability basics and list hygiene practices
  • Enthusiasm for automotive or restoration culture is a major plus
  • Graphic / Design Creation
