Responsibilities

Development (design, implement, test and debug) of core and/or application-specific software requirements for automotive embedded electronic module serial production projects

Develop software in compliance with ASPICE/CMMi.

Verify software requirements at component and bench level

Configuration, implementation and automation of Continuous Integration/ Delivery pipelines for software delivery, including test automation frameworks.

Continuously improve speed, efficiency, scalability and stability of continuous integration system and environment.

Aware of white and black box testing and be able to perform unit test using VectorCast

Support rest of the functional disciplines with all aspects related to software.

Perform work assignments as a highly competent software engineer, requiring independent design, implementation and testing of the software components.

Work assignments primarily involve intermediate through advanced level work, moving toward complete technical competency and mastery of the field.

Develops based on standard guidelines and safety aspects

Maintains regular attendance.

Aware of static check analysis

Skills

Must have

Knowledge of product development engineering practices in the automotive field

Involvement in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Knowledge of embedded software development in C/C++ for 16-bit and 32-bit micro-controllers including application for micro-controllers such as Freescale, PPC, ARM core, TI DSP, Microchip, Infineon and Renesas

Experience in developing Application Software components and ARXMLs in AUTOSAR-based projects

Practical Knowledge

Working knowledge of a structured engineering approach

Working knowledge of development of portable, reusable and modular software in automotive environment

Experience in using a disciplined software development process based on ASPICE or CMMi process model.

Working knowledge of configuration management (preferably PTC/Github), project monitoring and control techniques

Troubleshooting and debugging skills

Knowledge of AUTOSAR and Application Layer

Knowledge of analysis and engineering tools such as version control/configuration management, UML tools, static code check tools

Working knowledge of CAN/Ethernet/LIN-based tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe and CANape

Experience in using VectorCast for unit testing

Experience in using GitHub

Experience in using Lauterbach and/or isystem debuggers

Personal Requirements

Able to work effectively in a global environment.

Able to represent technical design topics.

Knowledge in bazel, cmake, CI Pipeline configuration

Continuous Integration (CI): Automating testing procedures to improve software quality and accelerate feedback cycles.

Nice to have

Experience in Enterprise Architect and code generation by LieberLieber Embedded Engineer
