We are looking for an experienced Embedded ECU Engineer to join our automotive infotainment and digital cockpit development team. In this role, you will design, implement, and integrate embedded software for ECUs used in next‑generation cockpit systems, with strong emphasis on cybersecurity, functional safety, and AUTOSAR‑based architectures, including platforms built on Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8255.
You will work closely with system architects, hardware, validation, cybersecurity, and functional safety teams to ensure ECU software is robust, safe, secure, and well‑integrated within the overall vehicle E/E architecture.

What project we have for you

This project focuses on delivering advanced in‑vehicle digital experiences through a combination of Android/AOSP‑based Infotainment applications and QNX/Linux‑based Instrument Cluster software. As part of the requirements engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that ECU behavior, interfaces, performance expectations, and system interactions are accurately captured and maintained. This position is ideal for someone detail‑oriented, proactive, and passionate about high‑quality automotive software and embedded system design.

What you will do

Develop and maintain ECU specifications for both existing and newly introduced ECUs based on system, functional, and performance requirements for the Snapdragon SA8255 platform.
Design, implement, and integrate embedded ECU software in compliance with system, functional safety, and cybersecurity requirements.
Develop ECU software in alignment with functional safety principles (ISO 26262), including fault detection, safety mechanisms, and safe states.
Implement and support cybersecurity mechanisms such as secure diagnostics, secure communication, access control, and ECU hardening in accordance with ISO/SAE 21434.
Work with AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive, including ECU configuration, SW‑C integration, interfaces, and middleware.
Integrate ECU software on Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8255 / SA8xxx platforms within the Infotainment / Cockpit domain.
Collaborate with system architects and hardware teams to ensure proper alignment with vehicle E/E architecture and platform constraints.
Analyze system logs, traces, dumps, and test results to support debugging and root‑cause analysis.
Support integration, testing, and validation activities, including defect investigation and resolution.
Participate in design reviews, safety reviews, cybersecurity reviews, and defect triage sessions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of ECU software quality, stability, safety, and security.

What you need for this

Strong hands‑on experience as an Embedded ECU Engineer in automotive projects.
Solid understanding of embedded systems, ECU architecture, and real‑time software development.
Practical experience with AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive (configuration, integration, communication stacks).
Knowledge and application of functional safety (ISO 26262) concepts at software and ECU level.
Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity principles and standards (ISO/SAE 21434).
Experience with automotive communication and platform technologies such as CAN, Ethernet, UDS diagnostics, middleware, BSP.
Familiarity with Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8xxx platforms is a strong advantage.
Ability to communicate effectively across disciplines and contribute to cross‑functional engineering teams.
