Embedded Firmware Engineer (1+ Year Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Embedded Systems Engineer with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in embedded development. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of microcontroller programming, hardware-software integration, and low-level driver development. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle – from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware for microcontrollers

• Develop device drivers, communication protocols, and real-time control algorithms

• Interface with sensors, actuators, and wireless modules 

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C/C++

• Conduct board bring-up, debugging, and validation of hardware prototypes

• Perform integration and testing with hardware and peripherals

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field

• 1-2 years of hands-on embedded systems development experience

• Proficient in C and C++ for embedded programming

• Solid understanding of microcontroller architecture

• Experience with RTOS

• Familiarity with I2C, SPI, UART, PWM, ADC, and other peripheral interfaces

• Experience with hardware schematics and reading datasheets

• Ability to write and execute test cases for embedded systems

• Understanding of power optimization, memory constraints, and embedded system limitations

• Experience leading small technical teams in firmware/hardware co-design environments

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with granular audio techniques, stereo/mono signal handling, and polyphonic DSP systems

• Experience with bootloaders, secure firmware updates, and OTA mechanisms

• Familiarity with Python scripting or Bash for automation/testing
