Embedded Systems Engineer

Our multidisciplinary team leverages cutting-edge design tools and advanced engineering technologies to bring new ideas to life. We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team and play a key role in driving projects from initial concept through to full production.
Responsibilities:

• System Design: Analyzing project requirements and designing the overall architecture of the embedded system.
• Programming: Writing and debugging code using C/C++.
• Hardware Integration: Interfacing microcontrollers with sensors, memory chips, and actuators.
• Testing and Debugging: Conducting rigorous testing to ensure the system functions correctly and fixing any bugs.
• Optimization: Improving system performance, efficiency, and power consumption.
• Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, such as hardware and software developers.
• Firmware Planning & Execution: Own the firmware schedule end to end, break work into tasks, estimate effort, sequence dependencies, and track progress against milestones.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience with embedded C/C++.
• Understanding of microcontroller concepts: interrupts, timers, memory, registers, and peripheral interfaces.
• Experience working with ESP32 microcontrollers.
• Familiarity with RTOS frameworks such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr RTOS.
• Understanding of common embedded communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
• Experience with wireless communication protocols (BLE, LoRa, Wi-Fi, 4G).
• Ability to read schematics and understand hardware–software interactions at a basic level.
• Solid understanding of object oriented programming and software design patterns.
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and structured development workflows.
• Basic Python or scripting experience for testing and automation.
• Experience with debugging tools (GDB, JTAG, logic analyzers).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Experience working with nRF microcontrollers (a plus).
• Must be able to join immediately and already based in Dubai.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
