Job Summary

The Digitizer will be responsible for converting creative embroidery and design concepts into precise digital embroidery files. This role ensures that all designs are accurately digitized for embroidery machines, maintaining the quality and luxury standards of Mahum Asad.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert hand-drawn sketches, artwork, and fashion designs into digital embroidery files.
• Prepare embroidery designs using digitizing software (e.g., Wilcom, Tajima DG, or similar).
• Adjust stitch types, density, and patterns to ensure smooth machine output.
• Collaborate with the fashion design and production teams to understand design requirements.
• Test and sample embroidery designs to check quality, accuracy, and finishing before production.
• Modify designs as needed to match brand standards and client requirements.
• Maintain a digital library of embroidery files for future reference and usage.
• Ensure designs are optimized for different fabrics, textures, and garment types.
• Troubleshoot and resolve embroidery machine-related issues linked to digitized files.
• Stay updated with new digitizing techniques, embroidery trends, and software developments.

Requirements

• Diploma/Certification in Fashion Designing, Textile, or Computerized Embroidery.
• 1–3 years of experience in embroidery digitizing (luxury pret experience preferred).
• Proficiency in digitizing software.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, threads, and embroidery techniques.
• Attention to detail with the ability to replicate intricate designs accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
