Duties

• Carefully trim loose threads, embroidery tails, and excess fabric from finished garments using sewing machines or manual trimming tools
• Inspect embroidered items for quality, ensuring all trims are clean, even, and meet specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work station to promote efficiency and safety
• Collaborate with sewing machine operators and quality control teams to address any issues with embroidery finishes
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for all trimming tools and equipment
• Assist in the setup and adjustment of sewing machines as needed for trimming tasks
• Keep accurate records of completed trims and report any defects or irregularities to supervisors

Qualifications

• Prior experience in garment construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environments is preferred
• Familiarity with sewing machines and basic sewing techniques
• Knowledge of garment finishing processes, including embroidery trimming, is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and steady hand-eye coordination
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Basic understanding of safety procedures related to sewing equipment and tools
• Experience working in a fast-paced production setting is advantageous
