EMEA AP Manager

Role and Responsibilities

The EMEAI AP Manager leads the end‑to‑end Accounts Payable operations across EMEAI region , ensuring timely, accurate supplier payments, robust internal controls, and compliance with regional tax/VAT/GST requirements. The role sets team priorities, adapts plans to address operational challenges, and is accountable for the performance and results of the AP function across multiple countries within the region

Own the full AP cycle for EMEAI: invoice intake, 2/3‑way match, exception handling, approvals, payment runs, and period‑end close activities.

Define daily priorities and coordinate work with Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and Country Finance; adapt departmental plans to meet resource and operational constraints.

Maintain accurate AP accruals, GR/IR reconciliations, aging analysis, and supplier statements; drive month‑end W1–W3 close milestones per Finance cadence

Ensure compliance with EU VAT, UK VAT, Middle East VAT, and India GST/TDS as applicable; partner with Tax for correct invoice tax coding and statutory documentation.

Uphold internal control requirements (ICFR/SOX), segregation of duties, approval matrices, and payment authorization standards; coordinate with Internal Audit on testing and remediation.

Enforce AP policies, signature authorization, and use of AP forms/resources published by Finance Ops

Lead continuous improvement of AP processes (Straight‑Through Processing, touchless invoicing, e‑invoicing, supplier portals), optimizing DPO while ensuring supplier health

Manage and develop AP analysts/specialists and supervisors across countries; handle staffing, performance management, training, and succession planning

Qualifications and Education Requirements

B.Com / MBA / CA with 8-12 years of AP/ Finance experience

Preferred Skills

Good Accounting knowledge, Strong MS Office- Excel proficiency, Process improvement, Integrating AP with Procurement, Treasury and Tax.
