Emergency 911 Dispatcher Trainee

Job Summary

Public Safety Dispatcher trainee for the Regional 911 Emergency Communication Center for the City of Española, Rio Arriba County, Ohkay Owingeh and the Village of Chama.

Responsibilities and Duties

Coordinate and dispatch for public safety agencies, which include: Law Enforcement, Fire Departments, EMS, Animal Control and Emergency Management inside the established jurisdictional boundaries. Answer, process and give medical instructions to save lives in emergency and non-emergency calls for service. Utilize different computer systems to communicate with law enforcement and public safety personnel, process calls, identify persons, document and locate data for emergency service personal.

Adequate Typing Speed

No Dispatch Experience Required/Needed

Certified and Non-Certified Positions Open

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
