DESIGNATION: Emergency Care Technician

QUALIFICATION: Dip. [EMT] / B.Sc (Emergency TrCare Tech.)

Yrs Of Experience: 0-3yrs

CATEGORY: Freshers / Experienced

GENDER: Male / Female

Ø To attend Emergency cases from minor injuries to severe injuries

Ø To maintain medicines and high tech devices

Ø To Monitor Patients condition and keep it stable until to reach hospital

Ø To administer Intravenous medications, drips and oxygen

Ø Works with and assists physicians and nurses and provides technical support for patient care

Ø Reports on the condition of patient to the appropriate supervisor and other staff members

Ø Cleans and stocks carts, rooms, and changes linen, as required

Ø Assists with transport of patients to other departments

Ø Assists with resuscitation / CPR and emergency airway procedures

Ø Assists with obtaining and documentation of vital signs and placement of oxygen saturation, cardiac monitoring, and non-invasive blood pressure monitoring systems

Ø Assist with wound care, insertion of Foley catheters, and nasogastric tubes

Ø Decontaminates all equipment, instruments, and supplies
