Salary : $48,942/Annually - Salary is Negotiable (Employees will receive 5% below the negotiated pay rate during their probationary status.)

Responsible To : Director of Emergency Management

Summary : This position will assist in protecting our Nation’s people, resources, land, and assets. The position will assist with coordination of development and implementation of Oneida’s Emergency Management program through planning, developing, and evaluating, as part of the Oneida Nation Emergency Management Department. This position will assist in ensuring compliance of the Emergency Management Law within all areas/departments/buildings of the Nation. This position will promote and coordinate outreach and training for Oneida Nation employees and community members. This position is contingent upon funding allocations.

• Must be an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation.
• Associates degree in Public Administration, Fire Science, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Organizational Management, or a related field.
• Two (2) years of management or supervisory experience.
• Two (2) years of experience successfully setting goals, developing strategies and schedules for meeting goals and anticipating obstacles and alternative strategies.
