Emergency Medicine

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients in emergencies
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute medical issues
• Provide critical treatments and procedures promptly
• Collaborate with nursing staff and specialists to enhance patient care
• Document patient interactions accurately and comprehensively
• Engage in departmental initiatives to promote quality of care and patient safety
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and follow-up care
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency program
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Active and unrestricted medical license
• Prior experience in emergency care is highly preferred
• Strong clinical judgement and decision-making abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments
• Willingness to take on flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
• Commitment to continuing education and professional growth in emergency medicine
