Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise across various specialties, including primary care, inpatient and outpatient services, and specialized fields such as cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, and more. This role offers an opportunity to deliver comprehensive patient care in a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced medical technologies and EMR/EHR systems. Will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Experience with clinical research, hospital medicine, and telehealth is highly valued.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and physical examinations
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments
  • Utilize EMR/EHR systems for documentation, order entry, and patient tracking
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization, endoscopy, and diagnostic imaging interpretation (CT, nuclear medicine)
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including cardiology, pulmonology, dermatology, psychiatry, and more
  • Coordinate inpatient and outpatient care, including discharge planning and post-acute care management
  • Participate in clinical research trials to advance medical knowledge and patient care standards
  • Provide patient education on health management, medication administration, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with specialists for complex cases involving trauma medicine, neurocritical care, reproductive endocrinology, or pediatric intensive care

Skills

  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or other clinical software platforms
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology across multiple specialties including cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, immunology, and more
  • Experience with diagnostic radiology (CT scans), nuclear medicine imaging, and interventional radiography procedures
  • Skilled in performing invasive procedures such as spinal taps, biopsies, wound care management, and airway management
  • Ability to interpret laboratory results and diagnostic tests accurately
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient service and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding for accurate documentation and billing processes
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient confidentiality
  • Experience in clinical research settings or telehealth platforms is advantageous
