Location: West Islip

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week

• 12-hour shifts

Compensation:

• $66/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to support a high-volume emergency department in West Islip. This is a high-demand assignment with consistent scheduling, ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced, acute care environments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience (required)

• Active New York State RN license

• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)

• Strong triage, assessment, and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to manage high patient volume efficiently

• Comfortable working collaboratively in dynamic ER settings

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage

• Deliver safe, efficient emergency nursing care

• Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes

• Administer medications and treatments per protocol

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with ER standards
