Emergency Room RN PRN (Night Shift)

We are looking for a PRN RN for night shifts at Sugarland Emergency Room in Houston, Texas, we’re not just an ER, we’re a community lifeline, delivering fast, compassionate, and top-tier care to patients. Night Shift: 6:00pm to 6:00am

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting, including IV insertion and medication administration.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR).
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective communication and patient safety.
• Administer basic life support and advanced cardiac life support as needed.
• Utilize critical care experience to manage patients in emergency situations and assist with charge duties.
• Ensure compliance with PALS and ACLS certification protocols.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (ADN or BSN) with no restrictions.
• Minimum 3 years of ER experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
