We are Ohio's premier builder of emergency vehicles and we want you to join our team. If you like working on vehicles, but don't want a "mechanic" type job, this could be a perfect fit.
As an Emergency Vehicle Technician, you will be installing various types of emergency equipment; (lights, sirens, prisoner partitions, weapon mounts, consoles, radios, controllers, radar equipment, camera/DVR systems, push bumpers, etc.) on Police, Fire and Construction vehicles.
Duties include: New equipment installation, general prep/service work, repairs, programming, etc. You must be able to: Communicate & work with other employees to execute efficient and quality installations that meet company standards. Provide direct customer service as needed, perform diagnostics/troubleshoot and make repairs to equipment.
You must be able to:
A valid drivers license & insurance is required, no exceptions. Basic automotive (12- Volt ) electrical knowledge along with general automotive experience is preferred. If you have working or advanced knowledge of current emergency vehicle lighting systems, sirens, controllers, light bar programming, radar systems, in-car camera systems, mobile radio installations, troubleshooting ability, etc., this is a Plus!
