Coastal is seeking a highly motivated Emerging Talent Manager to join the Delivery Excellence team to lead a team of entry-level professionals as part of our TIDE program. TIDE, which stands for “Tomorrow’s Innovative Development Experience,” is designed for cultivating talent and enabling future consultants in the Salesforce ecosystem through both part-time and full-time enablement programs. The program includes Salesforce technical skills obtained through Trailhead module assignments and also Consulting skills gained through modules and presentations assigned through Lighthouse, Coastal’s Learning Management System (LMS).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce implementation and a genuine passion for mentoring and coaching new talent. This role is critical in developing our next generation of technical experts and ensuring their successful integration into our projects.

Responsibilities
Team Management and Leadership
Lead, manage, and develop a team of up to 10 entry-level technical professionals.
Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Oversee the onboarding and training of new team members, focusing on Salesforce best practices and project methodologies, as assigned in Lighthouse.
Conduct regular 1:1 check-ins to ensure members are getting acclimated to project teams
Provide real-life examples from past experience to help provide context to team members on items they are learning
Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages growth and learning, including for those who may not successfully complete the program or may not be a cultural fit.
Foster a supportive environment for team members including those transitioning from student to full-time employment life
Curriculum Development & Management
Conduct regular Case Study configuration check-ins to ensure case study progress is on target and presentations are within Coastal best practices and expectations
Conduct scheduled continuation check-ins with former team members following transition to full-time, market assignment to ensure development and engagement continues beyond TIDE
Conduct knowledge checks and/or additional study sessions or exam overviews to help team members prepare for Salesforce exams
Facilitate technical program activities (Business Process Mapping, User Stories, Case Study Readouts, Supporting Testing), participate in team demos, and provide supportive and constructive feedback, and/or other activities as assigned by Emerging Talent Director
Collaboration & Partnerships
Partner with the People & Culture content development team to ensure Lighthouse (LMS) training is current and relevant to delivery team needs
Foster strong relationships with market leaders to ensure successful placement of TIDE graduates in delivery roles
Collaborate with People & Culture to support recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates and attending local campus career fairs, if applicable
Partner with senior delivery management to identify training needs and career development opportunities for the team.
Partner with the broader Talent Development team in identifying market shadowing opportunities to decrease onboarding time for program graduates
Strategic Initiatives
Evangelize and promote the accomplishments of program resources to aid in market margin improvement using the foundational pyramid
Participate in local career fairs, interview potential candidates, and attend Salesforce Community development activities, as requested.
Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of our Salesforce initiatives.
Recommend program improvement and enhancement ideas to help meet changing demands and client delivery needs.
Required Skills, Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce implementation.
Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably with entry-level personnel.
Demonstrated passion for mentoring and coaching new technical professionals.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving technical environment.
Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator or Certified Platform App Builder is required
Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
Position will be on-site in either Lexington, KY or Atlanta, GA
Additional Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
Additional Consultant-level or Advanced Salesforce Certifications or Accreditations are a plus.
