Job Overview:

PENNEP is seeking a talented and dedicated Emotional CPR (eCPR) Specialist who is certified and experienced in delivering eCPR training and developing others to become eCPR trainers, to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong facilitation skills, deep understanding of emotional wellness, and the ability to empower diverse groups to support individuals experiencing emotional distress.

This role involves leading eCPR sessions, mentoring aspiring trainers, and ensuring program quality, alignment, and effectiveness across the organization or community networks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Training & Facilitation: Deliver comprehensive Emotional CPR (eCPR) training sessions to individuals, teams, and community groups.
  • Facilitate Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs to certify new eCPR trainers.
  • Use experiential, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches while conducting training.
  • Coaching & Mentorship: Guide and mentor participants through their journey to becoming certified eCPR trainers.
  • Provide constructive feedback, performance assessments, and ongoing support.
  • Program Development & Quality Assurance: Contribute to curriculum enhancement, training materials, and facilitation guides.
  • Ensure all training adheres to eCPR standards, philosophy, and best practices.
  • Evaluate program outcomes and implement improvements based on participant feedback.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, community partners, mental health advocates, and leadership.
  • Promote the value of eCPR training and support program expansion.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate training records, participant certifications, attendance, and follow-ups.
  • Prepare periodic reports on training results, growth metrics, and impact assessments.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in mental health training, peer support, emotional wellness programs, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, active listening, and emotional support principles.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience working with diverse cultural, community, and professional groups.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an eCPR Trainer-of-Trainers (ToT).
  • Background in psychology, counseling, social work, peer support, or community mental health.
  • Experience developing training modules, manuals, or e-learning content.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
