We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to foster a positive work environment, ensure compliance with labor laws, and support both employees and leadership through effective HR practices. This role serves as a key liaison between employees and supervisors, promoting fairness, consistency, and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure employees have the training, information, and resources needed to maximize productivity, performance, and conduct standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with federal and local labor laws.
- Address employee concerns and conduct timely, thorough investigations into workplace issues.
- Document investigation processes and prepare detailed reports.
- Advise leaders on proper employee documentation and performance management practices.
- Draft, review, and maintain employee-related documentation.
- Manage employee complaints, disputes, and disciplinary actions, ensuring accurate and compliant case documentation.
- Enforce HR and operational policies, ensuring fair treatment and adherence to company guidelines and labor regulations.
- Promote positive employee relations to enhance engagement and performance.
- Identify employee and supervisor issues requiring policy review from a compliance or regulatory perspective.
- Maintain up-to-date departmental metrics and support achievement of departmental goals.
- Support the Senior Employee Relations Specialist with additional responsibilities as needed.

- Solid knowledge of local and federal labor laws.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee or labor relations.
- Proven experience conducting workplace investigations.
- Knowledge of local and federal labor regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across the island as needed.
