Employee Relations Specialist - Entry Level/ Level II

ACS Manufacturing is a state-of-the-art design build manufacturer of acoustic equipment enclosures, fuel tanks, turbine systems and skids. ACS Manufacturing, Inc. has one of the largest facilities in the industry, nearly 300,000 square feet on 36 acres in Denison, Texas and has expanded its operation to 150,000 square feet facility in Abbeville, SC.

Job Summary: The Entry-Level Employee Relations Specialist will support the HR department in fostering a positive work environment by assisting in the administration of human resource policies, procedures, and programs. This role involves addressing employee concerns, supporting management in conflict resolution, and contributing to initiatives that enhance employee engagement and compliance with company policies.

Job Responsibilities/Duties: Employee Relations Specialist – Entry Level/Level II

  • Assist in responding to employee inquiries regarding workplace issues, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the resolution of conflicts and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct basic workplace investigations under supervision, escalating complex issues to HR management.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Aid in the implementation and communication of company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support annual workforce reporting and documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of training programs aimed at enhancing employee relations, compliance, and professional development.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of training materials and resources.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts including posting positions, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support onboarding processes to ensure new employees are integrated successfully.
  • Contribute to initiatives promoting a positive organizational culture.
  • Assist in organizing employee events, recognition programs, and engagement surveys.
  • Maintain accurate records related to employee relations matters and HR activities.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required by management.
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

  • Manage multiple deadlines efficiently while maintaining accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Support a positive organizational culture by exhibiting flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive approach to employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, HR best practices, and company policies to ensure compliance and consistent application.
  • Display strong time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills while exercising sound judgment and discretion in all HR matters.

Minimum Requirements/Experience:

  • 1-2 years of human resource experience in employee relations, training and development, recruiting, and conflict resolution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check for employment

Required Education:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or Business Administration is preferred
