As a Employee Services Representative you will be assisting, motivating, and empowering our internal guests to ensure a fun and safe work environment. What does this mean for you? The opportunity to work with like-minded snow enthusiasts, a chance to do a variety of tasks from working with employee onboarding, to payroll tasks, to hosting resort orientations, and planning employee events.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests, applicants, and employees in a polite and timely fashion.
  • Screen job applicants and forward applications to the appropriate managers.
  • Assist in the scheduling and conducting of pre-season interviews, orientation and trainings in accordance with resort staff needs.
  • Track, monitor and relay outstanding applications to determine hire/rejection status with resort’s hiring managers.
  • Process new-hire and rehire applicants/employees in accordance with Sierra-At-Tahoe hiring policies.
  • Monitor and assist all employees with the assignment and completion of employee documents and onboarding relative to new hires, re-hires, reclassifications, and terminations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of uniform/nametag distribution, monitor, maintain uniform inventory, and manage uniform inventory control systems.
  • Assist personnel administrators and other HR staff with clerical support and with special projects as needed.
  • Assist in creating and organizing company employee parties and events.
  • Assist with payroll related duties including but not limited to employee timecard approvals, time-off requests and generating and analyzing special reports.
  • Handles sensitive employee/resort information with integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required, and college degree preferred.
  • Must have excellent clerical skills and strong attention to detail, listening and verbal skills. Previous experience in Personnel/Human Resources Department preferred.
  • Strong people skills and organizational skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
