Employee (W2) Courier Driver - Cargo/Sprinter Van Required

We are seeking a cargo/sprinter van owner-operator to start immediately. You will be driving your vehicle as an employee of Quick Delivery, NOT a sub-contractor. We are located in Schaumburg, but you will start your day from a designated customer location or home. Pickups and deliveries take place all throughout Chicagoland, and occasionally Indiana and Wisconsin. Majority of work is B2B, but we also service residences, hospitals, airports, etc. Further details will be provided during interview process.

You must have your own reliable vehicle. Expected income will vary based on demand and driver performance. The following types are acceptable:

• Cargo Van
• Sprinter Van

Summary:

• Due to specific customer requirements, you need to be able to start no later than 6:30 AM on Mondays in Burr Ridge, IL and 8:00am from home Tue-Fri. You can start earlier the latter days if you want to try to make more money. We can also accept part-time, but Mondays are required for route coverage.
• This position is responsible for same day package pick ups and deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner as directed by dispatch.

Requirements:

• No more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years and have a dependable larger vehicle.
• Minimum liability coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$50,000.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and possibly more on an infrequent basis.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• General knowledge of Chicago land main roads coupled with the ability to operate a GPS.
• Need to have a hand truck, be able to spend significant time in a vehicle and work in all weather and traffic conditions.
• For insurance reasons, drivers must be at least 23
