Our Employer Services team operates from our newly remodeled and expanded headquarters at 3210 West Truman Boulevard in Jefferson City, Missouri. Designed with both innovation and comfort in mind, our facility features state-of-the-art technology, advanced security, ergonomic workspaces, and collaborative areas that foster teamwork and productivity.

We offer a flexible, employee-friendly work environment with ample on-site parking and scheduling flexibility within our standard office hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Your Role at a Glance

As an Employer Services Analyst, you will work directly with employers to ensure the accuracy of contribution, service, and compensation data—information that is essential for calculating and delivering retirement benefits. You will analyze employer-submitted data, identify and resolve discrepancies, and provide guidance on reporting and eligibility requirements. Your work will involve monitoring submissions to maintain accurate member accounts, verifying retirement eligibility, and performing audits on salary and service records.

You will also play a key role in monthly processes, investigating salary variances, coordinating with Member Services and Accounting on benefit suspensions and reinstatements, and generating audit reports. In addition, you will review and reconcile employer statements, process adjustments, and analyze GASB 68 submissions in collaboration with Internal Audit. Beyond data analysis, you will help maintain educational resources such as newsletters and online learning tools and serve as a resource during employer training sessions held throughout the state.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who combines strong analytical skills with a commitment to accuracy and exceptional service. You should have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, three years of experience in accounting, auditing, or payroll preferred. Experience with pension systems or employer reporting processes is preferred, and relevant experience with PSRS/PEERS may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Success in this position requires a sharp eye for detail and the ability to interpret and apply complex policies and regulations. You’ll need to be comfortable analyzing contribution, service, and compensation data, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office—particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is essential, as is the ability to learn and navigate specialized reporting systems.

Strong communication skills are critical. You’ll interact with employers across Missouri, providing guidance on reporting requirements and troubleshooting technical issues. The ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally is key. You should also be highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

This position requires occasional in-state travel, including overnight stays, to support employer training sessions and outreach efforts. A valid Missouri driver’s license is required for use of company vehicles.
