Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Employment Attorney to join our In House team for a staffing Agency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law such as Employment/Labor Law & workers' compensation law. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive legal counsel and support to clients while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Candidates should have excellent research and writing skills, proficiency with legal research tools and experience in legal drafting and administrative procedures. This position can be remote or in the office depending on the person.

Duties

  • Provide expert legal advice and representation on employment-related matters across multiple legal disciplines including labor laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other resources to support case development and strategy.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, contracts, and memoranda with precision and clarity.
  • Manage litigation processes from filing to resolution, including negotiations and settlement discussions.
  • Assist clients with estate planning, immigration issues, landlord-tenant disputes, securities compliance, and tribal regulations as needed.
  • Stay current on relevant laws and regulations affecting employment practices and workplace policies.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm’s law office to ensure comprehensive client service.
  • Maintain detailed case files and documentation in accordance with legal administrative standards.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of various legal fields such as Employment/Labor law and workers' compensation law & litigation
  • Proficiency with legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Strong research skills to analyze complex legal issues efficiently.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents.
  • Experience in legal drafting and administrative procedures within a busy law office environment.
  • Negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients’ interests during settlements or dispute resolutions.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
