Employment Attorney in San Francisco (Hybrid)

Are you ready to deepen your employment law expertise in a collaborative and fast-moving firm environment? At Chan + Punzalan, you will join a team of experienced trial attorneys who value creativity, inclusivity, and real-world impact. You will work on meaningful litigation that shapes workplace fairness—representing clients in wage/hour, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation cases. You will also get early opportunities to lead discovery, take depositions, argue motions, and interface directly with clients. You will also have the immediate chance to work on a variety of different types of cases in the areas of Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation. You will have a chance to:

• Partner with senior attorneys to develop and execute litigation strategies.
• Manage a caseload and appear in hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Draft compelling pleadings, discovery, and motions across federal and state forums.
• Learn to work directly with clients and understand how to build your own book.
• Collaborate with a close-knit team that values professional development, humor, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• A hands-on attorney with at least 4 years of employment law experience
• Passionate about winning
• Sense of humor
• Excellent persuasive writing, requiring detailed legal research
• Experience representing clients in court
• Experience in conducting depositions

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience with wage and hour class and PAGA actions
• Interest in law firm operations, mentorship, and leadership
• A desire to build something long-term, with a focus on team success

Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
