Employment Lawyer

Location: Dubai, UAE (open to candidates currently based in Dubai or interested in relocating)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented mid-level Employment Lawyer to join a law firm in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising both regional and international clients across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on UAE labour law matters, including hiring, terminations, disciplinary processes, and employee relations
• Support clients with employment aspects of corporate transactions (due diligence, restructuring, redundancies)
• Handle employment disputes and liaise with relevant courts and tribunals
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
• Provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice to clients
• Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments in UAE employment law

Candidate Requirements

• 2-8 years' PQE (or equivalent experience) in employment law
• Experience gained at a reputable law firm
• Strong knowledge of employment law (UAE experience preferred but not essential)
• Excellent drafting and communication skills
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
