EMS Officer - Charlton Fire Department

The Charlton Fire Department is seeking a full-time EMS Officer to lead and manage the departments Emergency Medical Services operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality prehospital care, maintaining regularory compliance at the local, state and federal levels, as well as providing strong leadership and training for EMS personnel.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Certification in CPR,ACLS, PALS, and CPR, ACLS and PALS instructor (or obtained within 1 year)

• Possess and maintain a Massachusetts Drivers License

• Certified Paramedic by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, OEMS.

• 7 years of Paramedic Experience

• Successful completion of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Career Recruit Training Program or equivalent with Pro Board Firefighter I/II certification.

Hourly rate; $42.16 (rate is set by union). Hours will be agreed upon with Chief.
