EMT/Firefighter

Hawthorne at Leesburg is a 55+ Residential Community that offers Emergency Medical Services.

Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Firefighter/EMTs. As a Firefighter/EMT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. This position requires a strong commitment to public service, physical fitness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Scheduled shifts are 48 on / 144 off.

Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance to individuals in need
- Operate firefighting equipment and vehicles to extinguish fires
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate records of emergency incidents, treatments provided, and equipment maintenance

Experience:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of basic life support procedures and protocols

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Successful completion of a certified Firefighter/EMT training program
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

*No CPAT or FIRE TEAMS required
