Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, EMT to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in patient care, emergency response, and clinical support while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced medical environment.
In this role, you will assist with patient evaluations, injury care, emergency response, occupational health services, and a variety of clinical procedures. The EMT will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care while supporting providers and maintaining a safe and efficient clinical setting.
In addition to EMT responsibilities, the candidate will have the opportunity to assist with vital signs, drug testing, audiometric testing, respirator fit testing, X-rays, and other occupational health services. Previous experience in these areas is beneficial but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic emergency medical care and patient assessments in clinical and occupational health settings
- Respond promptly and professionally to workplace injuries and medical situations
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information accurately
- Assist providers with patient treatment, procedures, and injury care
- Conduct drug screenings, audiometric testing, and respirator fit testing
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures
- Assist with X-rays and other clinical services as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records while following HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
- Ensure compliance with infection-control standards and safety protocols
- Deliver exceptional patient care with compassion, professionalism, and strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Current EMT certification required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Previous experience in emergency medical services, urgent care, occupational medicine, or clinical settings preferred
- Strong understanding of emergency response procedures and patient assessment techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
