EN-KO-Freelance Translator/MT Post-Editor - English (US) into Korean (KO)

This is a remote position

We are currently looking for freelance translators/post-editors (MTPE):

Language combinations:

• English (US) to Korean (KO)
  
  

Specializations:

• Human Resources, Healthcare, Technical - specific knowledge ==> US market
  
  

Requirements

We must ensure we have reliable and experienced translators, then applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
• have obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
• have the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating
• CAT experience
  
  

For MT Post-editing:

Other Requirements

• Experience in Post-editing Machine Translation.
• Knowledge of MT and LLM technologies
• CAT experience (memoQ).
  
  

Skills:

Experience in evaluating Post-edited material:

• Post-editing Quality: fluency, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence
• RAW MT output evaluation: Post-editing length and time, Error type identification and similar
