Enabling Work Planning Engineer (Piling and Shoring)

WITH PILING AND SHORING EXPERIENCE

· Review and convey Engineer’s consent to the Contractors’ Baseline schedule of works in line with Contract conditions, and using Dutch Recommended Practices.

· Validation of compatibility of project resources for timely completion of the project

· Evaluate & verify the planning and scheduling information from the updated / progress schedules.

· Identify the potential areas of delay/slippage, highlight the critical events & suggest mitigation measures / corrective actions.

· Exercise “What if” analysis to assess the time impact of each change, variation, and potential event at an early stage and provide alternative courses of action & advice before issuing instructions to contractors.

· Prepare regular progress reports / monthly reports with program analysis and recommendations, addressing program issues to ensure timely project completion, and preparing presentations regarding the work's progress concerning interim and major milestones.

· Valid the progress of works and prepare the payment month claim accordingly.

· Coordination with the Client to finalize the contractor’s programs, reports, and claims.

· Attending various meetings ( if required) including kick-off, technical, service coordination, progress review, etc, providing valuable inputs, and preparing concise & precise minutes of meetings.

· Preparation of Trackers / Logs to monitor critical issues during the Design and Construction stages of the Project.

· Ability to develop manpower, equipment histograms, plan S, look- ahead schedule, and weekly /Monthly reports.

You MUST have:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, or an Project Management Engineering related field.
• over 8 years relevant experience in Planning for Construction Projects.
• Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Must be capable to carry out time impact analysis and window analysis in primavera.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Full-Time Job: Based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Working Offshore can be considered for the right applicants. (must have 10 years plus experience in piles works).

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
